The TOKIO desk lamp was first introduced in 1980 by Shigeaki Asahara, and now it’s back—refined and refreshed for a new era. While the lamp stays true to its original essence, subtle tweaks have made it a little more versatile and flexible. A spherical dimmer ball playfully adjusts the LED light, while the tiltable design allows it to work as both a focused task lamp and a soft reading light. Despite the updates, the lamp still carries Asahara’s signature balance of classic style and everyday functionality. The TOKIO desk lamp is made from powder-coated steel and polycarbonate.
